Run a league with divisions
Split a busy league into divisions, each with its own table. When the season ends, teams go up and down, and next season starts with the moves made.
1Add a division
On Your drafts, open Seasons. Under More beside your season, choose Add a division. Name it, and tick the teams that move to it. Say how many go up and down at the end. Your season keeps its name and becomes Division 1.
2A table for each division
Each division plays its own rounds and has its own table. Its page has a tab for each division. A key under the table shows who would go up or down. In Division 2, Sharks and Rams are the top two.
3See who goes up and down
When every division has finished, each final table says who moves. Panthers and Colts say Down to Division 2 under their names. In Division 2, Sharks and Rams say Up to Division 1. If teams finish level where it matters, it says Level: your call, and you choose.
4Start next season
Press Start next season. Each list already has the moves made. You can change a move, rename a team or add one. Then press Make Round 1. That starts next season for every division. Each division makes its own Round 1 from its page.
Good to know
- Switch on Weekly round-up in Setup’s Details, under After the night. Each person gets one email for the whole league, with their own division’s table first.
- Add a division before the season’s first round, while teams can still move. A league can have up to 8 divisions.
- Promotion and relegation can be 1, 2 or 3 teams up and down, or none. To change it, open Seasons and press Change under the league’s name.
