An alternative to Tournify
Tournify plans tournaments for teams you add, import or sign up online. Draftastic starts a step earlier: everyone joins on their phone, the teams are made in the room, then they play on the TV.

| What it’s for | Planning a tournament or a league for teams, from sign-up to results. | Making teams at an event, then playing, live on a TV and on every phone. |
| Making the teams | Teams are added one by one, imported from a list, or sign up online. Players can be added to each team. | Pick them by hand, let captains pick on their phones, let Deal make fair teams, or let people choose. Mix makes random teams. |
| Ways to play | Groups, knockouts with a consolation bracket, and single matches. Its help says it has no double elimination brackets, and no Swiss format. | A league, a shorter league (often called Swiss), groups then a knockout, a knockout with a second chance, or a scoreboard. |
| Times and pitches | Each field gets a name and a start time, and you set how long a match lasts. | Say how many pitches you have, how long a match lasts and when you start. Every match gets a time and a pitch. |
| On a TV | A slideshow and a live website with the matches, results and standings. | The Stage shows the teams being made, then every table and result. |
| Following along | Anyone can follow online without an account. An app for watching is on the paid plans. | People join with a code and their name, with no account or app. Each phone shows their team. |
| Price | Free up to 8 teams an event. €40 for up to 60 teams, or €120 for any number, each event. | Free. No account needed. |

Questions Tournify users ask
- Can I bring in teams I already have?
- Yes. Paste the names, or upload a spreadsheet. Then put each person in their team with Hand-pick, or let people choose their own.
- Can players enter their own scores?
- Yes. In Setup, switch on Players report scores. Both teams must agree, and you check any they don’t.
- How big can it be?
- A draft takes up to 500 people, in up to 100 teams. You can also run a cup over several nights.
